David & Stu…Unhinged!

Hosted ByDavid & Stu

“David & Stu . . . Unhinged!” offers a unique glimpse into the world's most pressing (and
most trivial) issues through the eyes of two of Greenwich Village’s jaded residents, who are
usually pissed off about something. From allowing people to legally sh** on our sidewalks to
"discrimination" against fat people, David Simonetti, a writer and attorney, and Stu Richel, a
critically acclaimed actor, screenwriter, and Vietnam War vet, offer an acerbic yet civilized
perspective on politics and life in New York City. Occasionally veering into the abyss of rage, like
Stu's unbridled contempt for Jane Fonda and David's rage about those who ask for ice cream
samples, the duo from two different generations will enchant you with their common-sense
reactions speckled with off-the-rails humor, anger, and dismay.

26: Biden’s Empathy for Child Killers, Trump Squandering his Meager Mandate, & a Saintly Single Mother

Welcome to the post-Christmas episode of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. Here is what is on deck for this week's milestone episode.

1) A discussion of Biden's decision to commute the sentences of Federal death row inmates, including those who murdered federal witnesses and children.

2) A recent incident on the F train in New York City where an illegal immigrant, Sebastian Zapeta, set a sleeping woman on fire and killed her.

3) The various warning signs that Trump 2.0 is blowing any chance of success with the spending bill mishap in the House are based on Elon Musk's input, several questionable Cabinet appointments, including Matt Gaetz's failed nomination as Attorney General, who was condemned in a House ethics report for committing statutory rape, heavy drug abuse, and spending $90K on prostitutes, and Trump's desire to take back the Panama Canal and buy Greenland.

4) We revisit the story of Mickey Barreto, the scammer who tried to claim ownership of the New Yorker Hotel. Apparently, not only was Mickey a con artist, but he also was an abusive father to his son Paul, who escaped the hotel room and was taken in by a single mother, Jennifer Ryan, who plans to adopt him. Even better, Paul has become a promising musician despite his troubled upbringing.
