David & Stu…Unhinged!

Hosted ByDavid & Stu

“David & Stu . . . Unhinged!” offers a unique glimpse into the world's most pressing (and
most trivial) issues through the eyes of two of Greenwich Village’s jaded residents, who are
usually pissed off about something. From allowing people to legally sh** on our sidewalks to
"discrimination" against fat people, David Simonetti, a writer and attorney, and Stu Richel, a
critically acclaimed actor, screenwriter, and Vietnam War vet, offer an acerbic yet civilized
perspective on politics and life in New York City. Occasionally veering into the abyss of rage, like
Stu's unbridled contempt for Jane Fonda and David's rage about those who ask for ice cream
samples, the duo from two different generations will enchant you with their common-sense
reactions speckled with off-the-rails humor, anger, and dismay.

19: Kamala Gets Fired, Lufthansa Pays Reparations, Clashing Broadway Divas & Another Legendary NYC Scammer.

Welcome to episode nineteen of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. Here is what is on deck for this week's milestone episode.

1) The 2024 election results and the historically unprecedented victory of Donald Trump, the demise of the Biden legacy of failure, and the backlash against the progressive agenda;

2) An incident on a Lufthansa flight involving Jewish passengers that caused Lufthansa to have to pay a substantial sum to the passengers;

3) A dispute between Patti LuPone of “Roommates” and Kecia Lewis of “Hell's Kitchen” over a noise complaint between the adjoining theaters during the performances and how Ms. LuPone was accused of bullying and offensive remarks; and

4) The story of a New York City scammer, Mickey Barreto, who ended up with five free years of rent in the New Yorker Hotel and is now facing criminal charges.
