David & Stu…Unhinged!

Hosted ByDavid & Stu

“David & Stu . . . Unhinged!” offers a unique glimpse into the world's most pressing (and
most trivial) issues through the eyes of two of Greenwich Village’s jaded residents, who are
usually pissed off about something. From allowing people to legally sh** on our sidewalks to
"discrimination" against fat people, David Simonetti, a writer and attorney, and Stu Richel, a
critically acclaimed actor, screenwriter, and Vietnam War vet, offer an acerbic yet civilized
perspective on politics and life in New York City. Occasionally veering into the abyss of rage, like
Stu's unbridled contempt for Jane Fonda and David's rage about those who ask for ice cream
samples, the duo from two different generations will enchant you with their common-sense
reactions speckled with off-the-rails humor, anger, and dismay.

08: Baseball Heroes, Lascivious Mayors, and Tampon Tim Walz

Welcome to episode eight of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. Here is what is on deck for this week's episode.

1) Mayor Misty Roberts Clanton had to resign from her post as mayor of DeRidder, Louisiana. Why, you ask? A charge of third-degree r**e and contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. Like Mary Kay Letourneau, she was a person in a powerful position who preyed on minors. In Mayor Robert's case, it was two minors while she was actively in office.

2) The Kamala Harris campaign and the media enthusiasm for her campaign seem to overlook her far-left record, including Medicare for all, the elimination of private health insurance, wage and controls, and dismantling ICE at the height of a border crisis precipitated by her policies;

3) Tampon Tim Walz and his disastrous record on crime in Minnesota and how unsuitable he is for a high-level role in national politics; and

4) A discussion of star baseball player Aaron Judge and how badly fans treated him when he had not performed at his usual level of excellence and what this says about our society when fans behave this way during a game that is supposed to be our national pastime.
