David & Stu…Unhinged!

Hosted ByDavid & Stu

“David & Stu . . . Unhinged!” offers a unique glimpse into the world's most pressing (and
most trivial) issues through the eyes of two of Greenwich Village’s jaded residents, who are
usually pissed off about something. From allowing people to legally sh** on our sidewalks to
"discrimination" against fat people, David Simonetti, a writer and attorney, and Stu Richel, a
critically acclaimed actor, screenwriter, and Vietnam War vet, offer an acerbic yet civilized
perspective on politics and life in New York City. Occasionally veering into the abyss of rage, like
Stu's unbridled contempt for Jane Fonda and David's rage about those who ask for ice cream
samples, the duo from two different generations will enchant you with their common-sense
reactions speckled with off-the-rails humor, anger, and dismay.

02: And We’re Off

Welcome to episode two of David & Stu… Unhinged! We’d like to start off by thanking Clara Wang for creating the amazing artwork for this podcast. Here is what is on deck for this week’s episode:

1) Those protesting in Washington Square Park over the Gaza conflict on Independence Day;

2) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the progressive wing of the Democrat Party, which has been at the heart of these anti-Semitic protests;

3) Stu shared a story of how a staff person at Trader Joe's was harassed by a supposedly Jewish customer for wearing Muslim attire and the level of incivility that we experience here in New York City;

4) The former Mayor DeBlasio and his policies lowering the penalties for public urination and our suggestions to New York City residents to address his policy change in a very personal way;

5) Stu went over a revolutionary war hero, Mary Corbin, and how West Point interred her remains as an honor to her service but somehow managed to bury the wrong party in her grave.

6) A discussion of Joe Biden's declining mental faculties, which David claims were ongoing throughout his career since Joe was never the sharpest tool in the shed
